We don't tend to talk very much about money as a church. It can be off-putting for visitors, and we never want people to feel under pressure.
However, giving is an important part of discipleship, and we do believe in being a generous church, giving cheerfully to the needs around us. Simply put, giving is part of our community life together.
How do I give to Woodlands Group of Churches?
Online by direct debit or credit/debit card
This is the easiest way to give, whether your gift is regular or one-off. Please visit our online donation page here.
If you would prefer to set up a standing order using our bank details or by sending us a printed signed instruction to pass onto your bank, please complete this Standing Order mandate and send it to the church office.
Cheques and cash
Gifts can be placed in the box at the back of each of our Sunday morning venues or posted to the church office. Cheques should be made payable to ‘Woodlands Church’. On the second Sunday of every month we take an offering, during our morning and evening services, for one or more of our global or local partners.
What is Gift Aid?
If you are a UK taxpayer, Woodlands Group of Churches is able to reclaim a further 25% of the value of your gift. For us to be able to claim tax back on your gifts, you need to select gift aid whilst donating via our online giving portal or print out, complete and return a paper form.
"Woodlands Group of Churches takes seriously the need to comply with the relevant legal and regulatory requirements. Further information and a copy of our latest full independently audited annual accounts are available from the Charity Commission."
