Giving

We don't tend to talk very much about money as a church. It can be off-putting for visitors, and we never want people to feel under pressure.

However, giving is an important part of discipleship, and we do believe in being a generous church, giving cheerfully to the needs around us. Simply put, giving is part of our community life together.

Online by direct debit or credit/debit card

This is the easiest way to give, whether your gift is regular or one-off. Please visit our online donation page here.

Cheques and cash

Gifts can be placed in the box on the welcome desk at our Sunday morning service or posted to the church office. Cheques should be made payable to ‘Woodlands Group of Churches’. On the first Sunday of every month, we take an offering, during our morning service, for one or more of our global or local partners.

What is Gift Aid?

If you are a UK taxpayer, Woodlands Group of Churches is able to reclaim a further 25% of the value of your gift. For us to be able to claim tax back on your gifts, you need to select gift aid whilst donating via our online giving portal or print out, complete and return a paper form.
