Sundays

Morning Service - 10.30am

A lively mix of worship, teaching and prayer with groups for the children. Before the service, there is a chance to connect over coffee with our hospitality team or meet others from our congregation.

At this service we have several groups that are committed to helping our children and young people discover more about Jesus and help them as they seek to follow Him. We do this through a blend of teaching, activities and lots of fun!

Branch Community Church - 4pm

In 2015 we planted a new church in Brentry which has a family friendly service. We now meet every Sunday at 4pm at Emmanuel Chapel in Henbury.

Children at Community Church

With almost 100 young people in the church, children are a high priority for us. Jesus welcomed, valued and encouraged children and we aim to do the same.

Our church family begin the service all together in the main hall, where there are toys for younger children, and we embrace church life with active youngsters. After about 20 minutes children are invited to join their age specific groups where they can enjoy stories and teaching from the bible, building on these through games and crafts whilst developing friendships and having loads of fun with our dedicated children’s church leaders who are passionate about seeing faith grow in our young people.

Register your child as you arrive at The Greenway Centre for the following groups…

Stars for ages 1-4

Sparks for ages 4-8 (reception to year 3)

Glow for ages 8-11 (year 4 to year 6)

Devotion for ages 11+ (year 7 upwards)

Students & Young Adults

If you're a student or young adult in Bristol, the Community Church is a great place to be.

You’re sure to receive a very warm welcome, and there are plenty of opportunities for exploring faith, making friends and getting involved in ministry. We host regular events and socials for our young adults and would love you to join us.

Get Involved

The Community Church is, unsurprisingly, focused very heavily on serving the local communities of Westbury, Southmead and beyond. So there are tons of ways to get stuck in with serving on our Sunday teams, or in our ministries during the week.

Home Groups

We encourage our young adults to get involved in one of our mid-week small groups where we catch up, study the Bible together and pray. These are groups of mixed ages as we believe it is important to learn from people of different generations.

Small Groups

As a church we are committed to helping you in your discipleship and a key way we do that is by encouraging everyone to be part of a small group.

We currently have small groups meeting throughout the week with some taking place in the daytime and some meeting in the evenings. Most groups meet weekly but some are fortnightly. We have groups that are for all ages, some for families, some that are aimed at men and some that are just for women. Some are held in a home and some meet in one of our buildings. They are located across the communities we serve. The aim of all of these groups is help us as we follow Jesus through Bible Study, prayer, worship and sharing life together.
