Community

As a church family we are committed to serving our local communities of Southmead, Westbury on Trym and Henleaze and we have a number of activities specifically aimed at serving some of the most vulnerable and at risk in those communities. To find out more about any of these activities, please get in touch.

Our popular mother and toddler groups that meet in the morning at our building on Albert Place in Westbury on Wednesday and Thursday, and at the Greenway Centre in Southmead on a Thursday.

An after school cafe for families in Southmead with games, crafts and baking followed by a meal together.

Every Wednesday at the Greenway Centre from 3:30pm to 5:30pm.

A Youth Club for school years 6, 7 & 8 every Thursday evening during term time from 6:30pm - 7:45pm (for years 6 and 7) and from 8:00pm - 9:15pm (for year 8s) at our building on Albert Place in Westbury.

A team from our church helps run the North Bristol Foodbank outlet every Thursday at the Greenway Centre providing emergency food parcels to those struggling as a result of changes or delays in their benefits or due to other exceptional circumstances.

A team from our church regularly runs services for patients at Southmead Hospital as part of the Hospital Chaplaincy team.

Every year we hold a very special event to bless the single parents in the community. The parent can get a free haircut, manicure, or massage whilst the children enjoy craft activities or various sports. We also give each family a professional family photo to take home.

Every week we run a group for those who have struggled with addictions and compulsive behaviours and are looking to grow their faith, support their recovery and share in Christian community.
